This one has an arc shaped mark going right through the middle of optic that does not show up on my camera. Many co2 lasers are highly polarized which leads to an uneven cutting width . 1/4 wave plate for co2 beam correction.
Little has changed with the optic and mount over the years. I doubt it will as znse can take a lot of punishment. 6 microns r 10.
You can always direct the beam off if this bothers you. This device will transform the linear polarized beam into a circular and even one. 55 clear aperture 90 degree rotating mount though the sticker part has been removed from this one. Part wpm 10.
Like a fine scratch. So it's gone up 150 in 35 years. This one is ar coated unlike similar older model's znse substrate. Which would be about right so deduct 40 from the quote of 4,600.
Very pricey little item. Has mounting hole and lock down screw on other end. And you get 2,760. I found one from see pic and it was 1,100.
Nevertheless, I have dropped my regular price. I could not find a current price sheet. Rotating mount is clean and smooth throughout.
